Along with our movement classes and bodywork,  we also offer a variety of other programs and workshops designed to help enhance your total experience of wellness, as well as to support the healing process. These include classes in art, music, self-esteem, the Zen of Organization, stress relief through laughter and more to help balance the total person - body, mind and spirit.  They will encourage your creativity, reduce stress and promote well-being.

Healing Rhythms Drum Circle

Our unique, interactive and dynamic "Drum Circle" is designed to decrease stress and increase joy while connecting with others.  Drumming is shown to enhance your immune system and it also shows you how to "live in the moment." Drums provided.

Caring for Others

Are you a baby boomer facing the task of caring for one or both of your parents - or perhaps a loved one who is ill?  Most of us are not trained or prepared for it.  It can cause interruption in your daily life as well as feelings of anger, frustration, resentment and guilt.

It is imperative that you understand these reactions and be able to deal with them, as well as make sure you pay attention to your own needs.  Join this interactive workshop to learn some of the basic tents of caregiving (how to deal with "difficult" people) and self-nurturing.

Intro to Focus on Healing - The LeBed Method - CANCELLED

Join us for this one-hour introduction to the LeBed Method, an internationally known and respected program of therapeutic exercise and healing originally designed for those diagnosed with cancer and who have (or are) receiving chemotherapy or radiation.  The program was developed in 1980 by Sherry LeBed Davis, a dance and movement specialist, and her physician brothers.

This program is beneficial for anyone with chronic disorders such as lymphedema, arthritis, fibromyalgia and other illnesses.

While everyone knows how important it is to feel good about yourself inside, there is no doubt that when you look good on the outside it reinforces feelings of self-esteem and confidence.  Do you look your unique best?  Does your current image support who you are?  In this workshop you will learn how to:

  • use the power of color to flatter your face and body
  • define and refine your style, and
  • build a wardrobe that works for you
