AS OF APRIL 23, 2012 --
CHANGES AT THE CORDELIA KNOTT WELLNESS FOUNDATION

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the beginning of a new era. After twelve years, the Foundation has changed its focus and direction. We are delighted to announce we are joining The Center for Cancer Prevention and Treatment at St. Joseph Hospital.

Walt Disney once said, "We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and
doing new things because we're curious, and curiosity keeps leading us down
     new paths."

Thus, we are embarking on a new path. In May 2012, Irene's Shop on Main will become "Ginny's Shop" in honor of Virginia Knott Bender and opening in
The Center for Cancer Prevention and Treatment at St. Joseph Hospital,
1010 West La Veta, Suite 105, Orange, CA 92868. This Appearance Center will be owned and operated by the Hospital and managed by Denise Cuthbertson, CFm. Irene's Shop on Main closed for business on March 30, 2012.

By the end of the year, it is anticipated that the Foundation as we know it today will cease to exist.  All funds currently held in our accounts will be donated to the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation, treated as a restricted account, and become known at the Cordelia Knott Support Fund. These funds will continue to be directed, monitored, and spent according to our Financial Support Guidelines whereby financial assistance is provided to those experiencing undue economic hardships during their cancer journey. This is a closely-monitored activity, and individuals must qualify under certain conditions. Currently we also have two active funds: The Marsha Bosley Fund and the Marcia Schwartz Fund, whose purposes are to provide scholarship funding for Cancer Wellness Retreats. These will continue to be viable and active accounts and used for the purposes intended.

We are enthusiastic about our new relationship with The Center for Cancer Prevention and Treatment at St. Joseph Hospital and their commitment to our cause and values. We hope and encourage you to continue to support us and the Cordelia Knott Support Fund.

From all of us to all of you, thank you for your support and encouragement over the years, and for your faithful dedication to an organization that began with five women who had a vision that became a reality. Our current board members are eager to continue their involvement with us, just in different ways. We hope you will also continue with us. We have made a difference and we look forward to continuing to do so.

We shall always be grateful for your kindness.

We believe in the health and healing of
